One thing that bothers me at work is the fact that so many people come in who have dog trainers who use the whole “dominance” method… Obviously I can’t tell them what they’re doing is wrong, but… omg… it’s definitely different from my philosophy on dog training/behavior, so it makes me somewhat uncomfortable.
At least they are doing what they genuinely think is best for their pets. These people really do want what’s best for them, which is why they came to our store!
